Description
Laktrum powder contains colostrum bovine and lactoferrin. Colostrum is naturally rich in antioxidants and nutrients. It has high concentrations of nutrients and antibodies, like carbohydrates and proteins but it is low in fat. Since newborns have very small digestive systems, colostrum delivers its nutrients in a very concentrated low-volume form.It has a mild laxative effect, encouraging the passing of the baby's first stool. Ingesting colostrum establishes beneficial bacteria in the digestive tract. Lactoferrin is a protein found in cow milk and human milk. Lactoferrin helps regulate the absorption of iron in the intestine and delivery of iron to the cells. It also seems to protect against bacterial infection, possibly by preventing the growth of bacteria by depriving them of essential nutrients or by killing bacteria by destroying their cell walls. Laktrum powder boosts immunity and promotes over all well being on the baby. Directions of use: One teaspoon daily in milk. Use under Medical Supervision.
